Jay-Z endorses marriage equality
BossHogg    05/15/12 1:47 PM

We were, of course, very pleased that President Obama made good on his "evolution" on marriage equality last week. But honestly, we might be even happier that Jay-Z has followed suit. As he says in the video above: "It's no different than discriminating against blacks. It's discrimination plain and simple...I think it's the right thing to do, so whether it costs Obama votes or not — again, it's not about votes. It's about people. It's the right thing to do as a human being."

We're certain that Obama's position carries more weight overall. He is the leader of the free world, after all. But we're still thrilled that Jay-Z, the CEO of hip-hop, has come around on this. The symbolism is fantastic. The dominoes are dropping.

Nasty CEO Feels the Beats

If you've ever observed Nasty Pig CEO David Lauterstein for any length of time, you will likely have noted that he tends to dance more than your average Pig.

Our Creative Director caught him in action while listening to the forthcoming Razor & Guido mix of Nasty Pig v. Chad Jack's "WW4" last week.

When we say that this video is pretty much everything, it's not only because David is our boss :@).

We don't care if this is real, it is fantastic.

Friday Hottie: Damien in the Knockout Jock.

Damien might look innocent, but we have a suspicion he's got a few tricks up his sleeve. Damn.

We Love: Chromatics - The Page
BossHogg    05/11/12 6:47 PM

We've been really digging into the new Chromatics album Kill For Love. It's a woozy, bruised, 4AM disco trip -- the thing's 90 minutes long, so be warned. It's nevertheless highly recommended, especially if you like the movie Drive, the Cure, occasional brooding, and staying up too late. "The Page" is probably the most immediate and thumping single, but there's plenty of other dark synthpop for your inner goth here, too.
